FOUNDER

Walter Doney

Founder, Writer, Filmmaker & Musical artist

Walter Doney is the founder, writer, filmmaker, and musical artist behind Mystic MediaWorks. His passion for movies and music began at the age of six, when storytelling and music became a source of inspiration and a way to escape difficult circumstances. That early connection with film and music eventually grew into a lifelong creative vision.

Walter holds an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies and certificates in Graphic Design and Bookkeeping from Walla Walla Community College, as well as an Associate of Applied Science in Small Business Management from Edmonds Community College. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Digital Filmmaking through the Los Angeles Film School’s online program.

Through Mystic MediaWorks, Walter is focused on bringing his original vision to audiences through film, music, soundtracks, and music videos. His three-part Horror series is currently in development, and its accompanying soundtracks are an important part of his vision for building Mystic MediaWorks into an established independent multimedia production company.

Walter’s creative influences include Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, George A. Romero, Kevin Smith, Eli Roth, and Rob Zombie. He hopes to create films and music that give audiences a combination of fear, excitement, and enjoyment while building anticipation for each new project.
